woke up to french toast.
smelt delicious. sucked it into my nostrils.
but no touch. no eat. I am staying away from bread. I am ignoring the eggs in the fridge. Oh yeah so I never ate that salmon.. I have basically been vegan.
...So again, on an empty stomach..I took the two pills.. waited 1/2 hr.. now having the powder mixture. Not sure but most likely I will eat an apple in a little bit.
After this is over I will still eat super healthy..but I will have to have a coffee every day most likely..(which isn't bad anyway) & I will have to have incorporate some foods here and there that I miss.. but I think this is a turning point with my eating.
this is helping me have discipline. it is helping me get used to fresh raw whole foods.. if my body can learn to just completely crave them.. it will be a better story... this life.
This is what I am trying to do.
Mentally I realize it helps when I just "have no desire."
Find happiness & comfort in other things.. & it is so much easier.
>>I kind of want to get into meditation..
& as for today eating wise..I am going to try to incorporate more of these:
list of foods that are good to have when detoxing
& avoiding these. still NO COFFEE for me though.
Ok so I have half-an-hour left of Day 5...I'm almost there... making it.> had some three bean salad from market basket that my sister let me eat. & this good cucumber slice mix..;) thank you. broccoli, carrots, some mixed berries (black, raspberry, blue).. drank another Kombucha tea.. I should really buy a life supply of them. . hmm some almonds not gonna lie...I ate a lot of seeds today.. I ended up working out for awhile today because I felt like I ate too many seeds (today was odd 'cos I did a circuit for 1hr & 5 minutes early in the day..but then went running for 55 minutes later on 'cos I felt like I needed it.. today felt so long..like two days in one.. I also biked around awhile). OH!!! & I tried this new thing from WHOLE FOODS.. DELICIOUS!!.. they are called.."PUMPKIN SUPER CHIPS!".. they have pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, dates, agave nectar, sea salt.. they are 100% organic GO RAW.vegan. DAMN GOOD.
So there you go.. you got a recommendation.
Oh yeah & I had some hot green tea today.
some info I found.. the ones that I put in bold.. I ate today...woooo! ;)
Detox diet guide
the following is from www.targetwoman.com:
Detox diets are not recommended for pregnant women, children, persons suffering from heart problems, lowered immunity, cancer or eating disorders. Persons on detox diets are known to suffer symptoms such as headache or fatigue. But gradually they might notice improved digestion, increased concentration and better skin condition. Proponents of detox diets claim that there are calming effects on the mind too.

- Vegetables that are great while detoxifying are broccoli, onions, garlic, beets, artichokes and sprouts. Vegetables that are rich in color are preferred.
- Grains such as quinioa, millet, buckwheat or amaranth can be consumed instead of rice.
- You can include plenty of legumes such as green peas, kidney beans, chickpeas and lentils.
- Nuts such as almonds, cashews, walnuts, flaxseed and pumpkin seeds make for ideal snacks, as long as you don't go overboard.
- Incorporate soups and salads into your daily diet.
- Raw foods and fresh juices are known to have substantial cleansing and rejuvenating effect on the entire system. Vitamins A, C and E along with selenium are powerful antioxidants - that work to rid the body of free radicals.
- Steamed or poached fish can be included in your detox diet.
- Grapefruit contains naringin that can affect production of liver detoxification enzymes. Grapefruit is therefore not recommended during a detox diet.
- Herbal tea or green tea along with water, natural fruit and vegetable juices and lemon water are recommended when on a detox diet.
...I should try to bold out some of the others tomorrow...
